So — have been messing about with this thing for maybe five months now and it's basically bookmarked at this point, so thought I'd chuck my thoughts in since a mate asked me the other day. I'm UK based, mainly bet football and racing, a fiver here and there, for context.

How I found it was honestly pretty stupid — I couldn't ever get my head round what an ew return would be when the place terms changed. Basically I'd eyeball it and moan when the payout landed. Now I stick my stake in before every slip, even a simple single bet.

Their single bet calculator is the bit I'm on daily — type in the price and your stake and you get the return with no faffing, fractional or decimal, doesn't matter. It also handles the multiples — acca and treble maths, lucky 15 and lucky 63, a yankee, which is where most people I know mess it up. If you fancy a poke about, it's here irish lotto bet calculator and there's no login wall, which I appreciated.

One thing that really made a difference was the geekier bits. There's an implied probability thing and it makes obvious what margin's baked in, plus a kelly calculator — I stick to fractional kelly as the full version is a quick route to a dead bankroll. The dutching one is decent if I'm splitting a race.

Not all sunshine though. Its layout feels a bit basic — not much frills, looks like it was built by someone who cares more about maths than colours. On mobile it's usable although the bigger tables need a bit of scrolling. And nothing on the app store, just the site — doesn't bother me but you asked.

So yeah. Costs nowt, barely any ads, does the job. If anyone honestly does the maths on paper, try it — saves me a load of arguments with the bookie.
